AI SpeakBoard, built for AppFactree, helps people who communicate with pictures build and use communication boards. Boards are generated on the device itself, so the app works without an internet connection and without sign-up.
The challenge
Communication apps are often tied to accounts and cloud services, which makes them harder to set up and raises privacy concerns for families and therapists.
What we built
We built the app to run entirely offline, with on-device board generation and switch access for users who cannot use a touch screen.
